Dear 4S Families,
As you can only imagine, today was pretty rough for me. In fact, the students were honing their Math skills by collecting data of how many times I cried (it was quite a few, and then I basically cried for the last half hour of the day straight through). We enjoyed some water ice, cleaned up the room, played on the playground, played a game of kickball, and watched a slideshow of many of the memories that we made here in Room 204. I sent each child home with his or her report card, a note, and a copy of the DVD that we watched. I think you'll enjoy it.
I want to thank you all again for your continuous support. As I've told many of you, I had feared that my youth would make it difficult to gain your faith, but you have shown me that age truly is just a number. It has been my honor and privilege to serve your children this year. I have probably learned more from them than they have from me, and for that, I am truly blessed. I love each and every child that was in my class, and you have made this a very memorable year for me. I will look back on my time in Haddonfield with a sense of great pride, and most of all, love. I will cherish the necklace that you gave me as well as everything I've received today. Thank you for everything you've done for me from the bottom of my heart.
This website will be here forever to remind you of everything that happened in Room 204. I hope that maybe you'll look back on it years from now and smile.
Love always,
Francesca

Dear Miss Schiavo's Shimmering Super Sports,
As I said to day, each one of you is incredibly important to me. This year was a crazy ride, but I wouldn't trade our love and memories for anything! I have learned so much from you, and I hope that you will leave 4th grade with the knowledge and confidence that you can do anything you want if you work hard and have a little faith. Thank you for being so open to try pretty much anything that I threw at you. I will always CHERISH our memories, especially when I was DRENCHED with water on Field Day. I'll always remember my surprise party, and how some of you came to Express to sing to me. I'll never look at a Showoff book the same way again, and I know it will forever haunt me in my dreams, just like Tommy's helium-enhanced voice. Each of you has a very special place in my heart, and I will remember you always. Please know that your 4th grade teacher loved you very much and believed that you had the power to make a difference in the world with your kindness.
Some of my favorite lines from "See You Again" that I'd like you to remember:
- "We've come a long way from where we began."
- "Hard work forever pays."
- "Everything I went through you were standing by my side."
- "And what's small turned to a friendship, a friendship turned to a bond, and that bond will never be broken; the love will never get lost."
- "Let the light guide your way, hold every memory as you go, and every road you take will always lead you home."
- "Let the light guide your way, hold every memory as you go, and every road you take will always lead you home."
This website will be here forever to remind you of everything that happened in Room 204. I hope that maybe you'll look back on it years from now and smile.
My email is [email protected]. Keep in touch! I love you with all my heart. Make me proud next year!
Love always,
Miss Schiavo/Mrs. Sanchez/Mrs. Motorcycle Driver/Miss Pigtails
